Blooms
Blooms are baby pouflons! They each have their own personalities but are generally playful, rambunctious, and clumsy. They can't fly, and don't yet have control of their magic.

Blooms are easy to get, but a little more restrictive with what you can do with them. Do 3 bloom prompts to grow them up into full pouflons!

Geodes
Geodes are baby vespires! They are named as such due to hatching from rocks, leaving a beautiful crystal in the shells that match their runics. One of these crystals is carefully extracted by the Strata of Ebenshir and painstakingly added to the harmony of the Lucid Altar. Each vespire’s crystal remains as part of the Altar until their death.

Geodes prompts are the same idea as blooms; you need to do 3 geode/bloom prompts to grow them up into full vespires!

Sprouts
Sprouts are baby ursuki! When ursuki decide it’s time to become parents, they seek out the best plot of ground that they can, even if it's far from their homes. Once they’ve found the perfect place, they dig a den and perform the spell, staying to protect the place until something sprouts. When the foliage opens up, it’s time to unearth their child and welcome them to the world!

All sprouts have some type of leaf or foliage on their head; rarely they will flower or bear fruit! The plant absorbs energy through their childhood, eventually wilting and falling off once they’re ready to cross into adulthood.

Their wings sprouting is their sign that it’s time to grow up!

Sprout prompts are the same as blooms; you need to do 3 prompts to grow them up into full ursuki!

Design

Traits
You can represent any traits on babies, but a bloom's horns must be short & nubby as they will grow in to them. All traits are allowed, but appear smaller or undefined as they're just babies!

Color
Your bloom/geode/sprout design may have up to 4 distinct colors/shades following these rules:
  • 1 runic color (runic locations vary by species)
    • Blooms - Primary (required): Eyes, Horns | Secondary (optional): Nose, Hooves, Tail Tip
    • Geodes - Primary (required): Eyes, Filagree | Secondary (optional): Claws, Wing Tips, Tail Tip
    • Sprouts - Primary (required): Eyes, Tongue | Secondary (optional): Claws, Inner Ear, Nose, Tail Tip
  • 3 body colors
  • Visible cheek/knee spots (for blooms only)

Markings
We don't restrict markings on bloom/geode/sprout designs, but you may want to follow the canon - pouflons start with a mostly blank coat and their markings grow in as they mature and the same goes for geodes and sprouts. The canon for markings & age is as follows:

Infants are a single color and runic with no other markings.
Children have basic markings - spots, stripes, underbelly, etc.
Teens can begin to have more complex markings as their adult markings grow in.

Your bloom/geode/sprout can be at any of these three stages-  infant, child, or teen.

Growing up your baby

You must do 3 baby prompts to grow up your bloom, geode, or sprout OR use a Growth Potion to bypass the quests!

Grown Design
When submitting the design update for a baby you're growing, follow these rules....
  • You must keep the runic color & at least ONE coat color the same (you can change any colors if you apply a design edit spell)
  • You can add any number of new colors
  • You can completely change the markings
  • You can change any common traits they have without needing an item
  • You can apply new traits to them via trait items
  • They become giftable, tradeable, and sellable

FAQ

How can I get a Bloom/Geode/Sprout MYO slot?
In the MYO shop! Blooms, geodes, and sprouts cost less coins than Pouflons/Vespire/Ursuki, and you can get a free bloom if you've never owned a pouflon species before.

Can I do the baby prompts even if my character is already grown up?
Yes, just draw your character as a baby. You don’t need to follow the MYO baby design rules in your representation of them.

Can I do the baby prompts with vespires and ursuki?
Yes! You can do the prompts for vespire and ursuki. Their baby counterparts are geodes and sprouts.

Can I buy Bloom/Geode/Sprout MYOS with cash?
Yes! You can purchase them in the cash shop for $15.

Can someone design your baby for you?
Yes! Someone else can do the design and masterlist art for you, but you must do the prompts yourself.
You cannot have someone else do the prompts on your behalf.

Can I apply a non-legendary trait with a legendary potion (i.e. dragon, unicorn, capricorn)?
Yes, as long as it is one of the traits in the potion that are approved, you are more than welcome to use that potion!

Are there any bases I can use for my new baby?
There sure are, take a look here!
